It is terrible that it is taking this long for me to finish this post. And now I am terribly behind because I need to blog our Christmas trip so I will finish this up and then start the Christmas one hopefully without so much delay. We finished up the trip in Mt. Gambier where it is known for their blue water and incredible sink holes. T
The water in this lake changes colors depending on the season and some chemical reaction. It is blue but can get even more blue, other times it looks more green. It was a beautiful area.
These next few pictures are the sink holes. These holes just slowly get deeper and deeper but are BEAUTIFUL garden areas with tons of white flowers that I thought were called calli lillies (sp?) but they are called something else here. You can see these vines that just hang down all sides of these walls.
This picture is from inside the hole looking up!
On the walk way between the ivy and the rock wall.
This is another sink hole in the area we visited.
The first wild Kangaroos we had seen. They were near Naracoote caves.
