A few good ideas for young kids

One Saturday we were walking in the City and there is an old building that had a sign advertising something about children around the world. So we thought we would check it out. It was actually for teachers to learn different ways that children learn and so they had a few things set up that were really cool ideas I thought. This first one is felt face shapes then they had buttons, pipe cleaners, other felt to put "faces" on the shapes. It was really cute and something even Carlee, Sara and Whitney tried out.
Here they had a projector and you could put different shapes and colors etc and see how it looked on the wall. It was neat to lay the colors over each other and see how they made a different color or the shadows of everyday things like keys or animal shapes or leaves, beads really anything. So if you ever run across an old projector it is acutally very entertaining.
