So one of the great things my girls have been invited to do is called SA Young Author's night. It was on a Tuesday evening , June 16. Carlee and Sara were 2 students out of 8 that got invited from their school to go. They divide all the children into smaller groups of about 12and they meet with authors from South Australia. The students have a few minutes to read a poem or story they had written and then the Author would give them some feedback. The night was AWESOME. The girls had a great time and actually learned from other kids in the group as well. After they met in the groups you could buy a book and have the authors sign them for you. This is Carlee with her Author Elizabeth Hutchins and the book is called Bring back the songs.
And Saras' Christobel Mattingley and her book was Colonia Green, Champion of Turtles. Both girls had great feedback and we enjoyed the night.

What a fantastic oppertunity! Way to go Carli and Sarah.... I think both of those girls have amazing imaginations and would be terrific writers! I'll line up for a book signing! xox
